Warren’s son Joe is associated with the company also. Joe graduated from the Indiana County Technology Center Carpentry program. After graduation from high school, Joe attended Pennsylvania College of Technology where he graduated from the Carpentry program and Architectural drafting. Joe, along with other duties, does the drawings for the new homes.
Warren serves as a director for the National Association of Home Builders. He is also a life director for the PA Builders Association. Warren served as president of the PBA in 2012. He serves on several committees at the state board level working with government officials continually trying to keep housing affordable. At the local level, Warren has served as an officer or director for most of the years that he has been involved with the industry. Since 1994, Warren Peter Construction has participated in the Indiana-Armstrong Builders Association annual home show.
Warren spent several years with a large construction company. When he moved to Indiana County in 1977, Warren wanted to do things differently. He wanted to build custom homes, (which is now over 180), so he started his own construction company in 1981 with two part-time employees. The company now employs eight full-time employees. Warren’s employees have a total of 165 years of service to the building industry. “My employees also deserve credit for their quality workmanship and commitment to the company”.
Warren feels that the homeowner should be involved in the construction of their home from start to finish. Warren and Joe work with you personally, offering their friendly, helpful experience through every stage of your new home development. Through designing, construction, completion, and follow-up.
